Bodykind, Amazon and Donations...
I hope you have found the information on these pages and on the CFS/M.E Support Forum helpful. If so, and assuming you’re able, I hope you don’t mind me asking if you might consider helping us to continue what we do.
The site is non-profit making - often when you read that, it means no profits after providing the owners and staff with hefty salaries and perks. That isn’t the case here. I and the staff are all CFS/ME sufferers or carers, and we work to help others in the same position as us on a completely voluntary basis. But sadly, substantial costs of running and maintaining a website like this do exist, and to meet these costs we rely entirely on voluntary support from visitors and forum members.
So, if you feel inclined to help keep this website live, there are three ways in which you can help.
1. If you live in the UK, would you consider using ‘Bodykind’ as a supplier of any supplements that you use? If you do so via the link below, our website receives a modest payment at no cost to you. So why Bodykind in particular?
Well first, I’ve heard nothing but good from forum members about the service Bodykind provides. I’ve not had such consistent positive feedback in respect of any other supplier.
My own experience apart, though, here are a few good reasons to use Bodykind for supplement purchases –
They stock a huge range of the very best supplements of all kinds, refusing to stock the poor quality, ineffective brands that are so commonly available.
They offer a price match promise on ALL of these supplements – see the ‘price match’ tag on each individual order page.
Orders received by 4pm are almost always despatched the same day, and the majority of orders arrive the next day.
No charge whatsoever is made for post and packing.
They have a reward points system – each time you buy, you earn points that, when they reach a certain level, can be converted to cash to set against future orders.
They have their own fully qualified nutritionists available to respond to email queries and requests for advice.
They strive to offer unrivalled levels of service and support, and from what I’ve heard, they invariably achieve that aim.
2. I think that most people who live in the UK are aware of Amazon.co.uk, and the good value and service they offer on all manner of the things that we regularly purchase. Starting out as a supplier of books, they’ve expanded year after year so that now there is almost nothing they can’t supply, and everything is very competitively priced with a free delivery option. Again, if you live in the UK, and if you log on to and make a purchase from Amazon via the link below, this website will receive a small payment at no cost to you.
3. Whether you live in the UK or anywhere else in the world, you can make direct donations via Paypal on the link below. We do appreciate that CFS/ME sufferers often have very little spare cash, but if you feel able, all donations, however small, help to maintain what we are doing here and are hugely appreciated.
Thank you for listening. Whether or not you feel able to help in any or all of the above ways, you will always be welcome here. But if you can help, the result will be that our website can continue to exist and help fellow sufferers and carers with good, solid information, advice and, above all, empathetic support.
From the bottom of my heart, THANK YOU.
