I have been suffering CFS for twelve months now,
My GP informs me that the CFS was caused by the medication GOSERLIN (treatment of prostate cancer),
This drug has recently been stopped and my GP informs me that the CFS will gradually dis-appear; I do hope so and I will keep you posted,

I have found this website so helpful, great to know your not actually mad and that other people have the same symptoms and difficulties, I have only really recently got my head around the fact that I do have CFS/ME - still in the process of coming to terms with it really, I know that I have to totally change my lifestyle if I want to recover, but I kind of used to like my lifestyle and am rather attached to it!
Anyway - wil have to negotiate that one! Thank God I don't have any children to look after - that would make life twice as difficult I am sure!

Finally, someone who has been there, is there, and can put it all into words,Thankyou for your website, It has been like reading my own life,or should I say existence, for that has what my life has become, and sometimes I wish for death so that I don't have to "feel" anything anymore in the physical, emotional and mental sense of the word, I have "officially" had CFS for 2 1/2 years, and I am SO lonely, I am a single mother of 2, (12 and 10) It is as much as I can do to look after the children, let alone work, I have zero social life, I have one friend, My life has been a series of moves across the world, and I have struggled to find a social life because of the illness, being a single parent, and not being able to put roots down for very long, Don't know why I'm saying all this, I guess it's just nice to know that I'm writing to people who understand the illness on top of all the other struggles in life, If anyone would like to exchange stories and ideas for overcoming things I would love to write,

This site was set up with the intention of helping others, and if they wanted to contact me personally, this is an avenue to do so, this site and guestbook is not an avenue for p~rn, insurance, or bored people to constantly write one spam e-mail after another, after all, if you wish to do that, do it on your own website, this site is an information based outlet for millions of REAL people suffering from a REAL illness, and has become a support network, so if by chance, if you ever contract C,F,S, feel free to write something constructive,,, and if not, well, do something positive with your life, and yes, you know who you are, enjoy your life and do not make something as important as this site a subject of hilarity and a side track for your sexual desires, try thinking of others,

And on a final note, to all those who uploaded a genuine message, thank you so much for adding your comment to my guestbook,

I found your site through a link on someones profile on a web site, I must admit I have cried my way though reading everything written here seeing my own life laid out for all to see, No, it's not easy is it, It's seems bloody impossible at times too but we do get through the days somehow, Trying hard to keep the sanity intact at all times, But I write to say thank you so much for this site, this insight in to a day in the existance of , Through all the tears it's been a great help to me knowing that I'm not totally off my rocker after all, One starts to think that when not taken seriously, Anyway, I ramble on, Thank you again, Let's all move together towards the day we strive for!
